Well worth the money February 20, 2006 Stacia R. Roesler (Alexandria, VA USA) 34 out of 34 found this review helpful
This may seem too inexpensive to believe but it is a fabulous chair. Ours has lasted for two years now and is going strong. It is REALLY COMFORTABLE and has quickly become everyone's favorite outdoor seat. It DOES stretch from sitting in it so you'll need to retie it occasionally (like once or twice a season, depending on amount of use) to keep people's rear ends from touching the ground! But it's really, really, really comfortable (and fun to swing in too). Personaly, I can't see how the more expensive varieties would be that much different to be worth so much more money.
Great...and inexpensive too! April 11, 2007 Steve Taglienti 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
I LOVED this chair. It was also very inexpensive. I got it for our garden and the only thing i don't like about it is that my children are now fighting over it. Great product.
Great chair for the money! June 19, 2010 Michael Koyoumjian (Rochester, New York) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I was looking for a hammock chair to replace our old tire swing for my son who likes to sit outside and read. I shopped around read reviews for several makes from $20 to over $150. I took a chance on this chair for under $20, the reviews were good. We have had it up for 3 weeks and so far no problems. We leave it out in sun rain. The cotton rope has not shrunk much after being rained on. The rope the chair is made from is heavy, the knots tight, the frayed rope ends secured with thin plastic sleeves. The cross bar is 1-1/4" round hardwood the 3 rings are 1/4" cross-section welded steel. For under $30, including shipping, if it lasts 2 years I'll be satisfied. As for comfort, the chair is wide deep so if you are average size, you can cross your legs lean back for comfort. Sitting in the chair with your legs hanging out, the front rope will pull into your legs just behind the knees and hurt a bit. This is just the nature of a rope chair vs a full size hammock which you can lay flat on. We'll get a seat cushion to ease the pulling when we sit legs out in the chair.
br /So far, no complaints on this chair the price can't be beat!
Great for the price! July 4, 2010 Folsom Mom (Folsom, Ca.) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Everyone loves this hammock chair! I took a chance on ordering this because of the low price, and I was very pleasantly surprised when it arrived. It is a durable and comfortable swing. My boys (ages 12 and 15) as well as my husband and I have used this, and it holds up very well. I feel that this purchase was a real bargain, as I had been looking at similar hammock swings that were priced at least twice as much. This was a great find!
Cotton Hammock Chair August 18, 2010 Mom2sweetp (New Jersey, USA) LOVE THIS CHAIR! We purchased this for our 12 yr old son who has autism. We were looking for a chair that would give him the sensory input he needs when he sits in it. This chair hugs him as he sits in it and we wrap his blanket around him and he is happy to stay in it for hours. Sometimes we add a big pillow for him to sit on when he is in it but usually he just gets in with his blanket and reads, does his homework or just relaxes. And when he's not around, I usually hop in and read too. This chair is great!! Get the C Stand and Spring if u want to fit it in a small space and want it to swing more. I like that it swings freely and u can face anyway u want once u r in it. It's a great buy.
